Global Loneliness Awareness Week Resources (June)

Global Loneliness Awareness Week is June 15-21. Loneliness Awareness Week is an opportunity to empower everyone around the world to make connections. This year, the Wisconsin Coalition for Social Connection is stepping up to the plate for Loneliness Awareness Week with the theme “Take Me Out to the Ballpark”. It’s all about encouraging connections—on the field, in the stands, and in our communities.

Join us at the Madison Mallards game on Sunday, June 7 for a fun day at the ballpark—while raising awareness about the power of social connection! Even better, a portion of every ticket sold will support the Wisconsin Coalition for Social Connection and the work we do across the state. Buy tickets here: http://madison-mallards.nwltickets.com/Tickets/SelectPromoSeats?PromoCode=Social26 (purchase tickets by May 31 using this link, or buy them at the game).

Social Connection Awareness Week Resources (November)

2026 Social Connection Awareness Week: November 8-14.

The Wisconsin Coalition for Social Connection (WCSC) will recognize Social Connection Awareness Week November 8–14, highlighting the importance of relationships and the everyday connections that help individuals, organizations, and communities thrive. Through partnerships across the state, WCSC promotes awareness of social connection policies, programs, and activities that foster meaningful relationships.

This year’s theme, “Everyday Connections. Lasting Impacts.” focuses on how building relationships can help create more connected and supportive communities.

Everyday connections can have a lasting impact. A conversation, shared experience, helping hand, or simple check-in can help people feel connected, supported, and included.

Building relationships happens at every level—individual, organizational, and community.

The WCSC will host two free virtual events featuring speakers who will share their experiences, ideas, and perspectives on building relationships and creating meaningful connections.
